Dead Reckoning Computer - Collectable - Unique - Vintage - EA Link's

Once in a lifetime collectors item. Ed Link's personal Dead Reckoning Computer. Ed was a pioneer in aviation and is best known for inventing the flight simulator, or "Link Trainer." This computer is in very good condition, the leather case has dried and is no longer flexible. I was very lucky to get this in 1959 at the then Broome County Airport, which is now the EA Link Airport. At the time I was a CAP Cadet and a manager at the airport offered several of us a few computers that had been left in a desk drawer. I recognized what was printed in the upper right corner of this case so I picked it out immediately. Although now it's faded somewhat, it still is readable; "E.A. Link Link Aviation Binghamton, NY" WW II AAF AN5835-1 G. Felsenthal FAA-8
